Aftermarket truck wheels are unsettlingly gaudy these days. Why would anyone want these garish chrome-and-matte-black aluminum atrocities? I just want something that looks decent and can take mild offroad abuse.

I kinda wonder how much abuse older Viper wheels can handle (I've a 1995 Dakota 4x4, same bolt pattern/hub/offset)

They're probably an alloy, and an older formula to boot. I wouldn't trust them. Steels are pretty cheap too.

There are few things that can make a brand new Jeep or truck look low rent like a set of Big-O Specials. 95% of the idiots that buy them should put a few more bucks into the rubber and leave their stock wheels in place.
